02
What this notice covers
This notice covers this website and the enquiry form on the contact page. Personal data processed in the course of a client engagement, including any project record entrusted to us, is governed by the engagement agreement and a separate data processing agreement, not by this notice.
03
Data we process
When you submit the enquiry form we receive the information you enter: name, organisation, role, work email address, the stage of the dispute, the approximate size of the record and your message.
When you visit the site, the hosting provider records technical data necessary to deliver the pages: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
04
Why we process it
We use enquiry data to respond to you, to prepare and hold a briefing, and to keep a record of our correspondence. The legal basis is the performance of steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries.
We use technical data to operate and secure the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a functioning and secure website.
05

This website is built and hosted with Framer B.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Form submissions are received through Framer and forwarded to us. Framer may process data on servers in the European Union and the United States under contractual safeguards recognised under Swiss and EU law.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
06
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for [24] months after our last exchange with you, unless an engagement follows, in which case it is retained under the terms of that engagement. Technical logs are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
07
Your rights
You may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, for its correction or deletion, for a restriction of processing, and for a copy in a portable format. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, write to [privacy contact email].
You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or, if you are in the European Union, with your national supervisory authority.
